1. Introduction
1.1 The terms contained in this document (“Trading Terms”) apply to all transactions for the purchase of services (each a “Service” or collectively the “Services”) provided by Move 4You Limited. By ordering any of our Services, whether through our website, email, WhatsApp, or phone, you are agreeing to be bound by these Trading Terms. They form a legal agreement between you (the client) and us (Move 4You Limited). You may print a copy of these Trading Terms for your records.
1.2 If there are any other specific terms referenced elsewhere on our website or booking platform, those will take precedence in the case of a conflict.
1.3 We reserve the right to amend these Trading Terms at any time without prior notice, though any changes will not apply to confirmed bookings made prior to the changes.
2. Booking Our Services
2.1 You may place an order for any of our Services (Removal, Packing, Dismantling and Reassembling, Materials Delivery, Surveys, Storage Solutions) via our website, email, WhatsApp, or by phone.
2.2 We reserve the right to accept or reject any booking. If your request is accepted, we will send confirmation with all relevant details. If declined, no contract is formed and no payment will be processed.
2.3 Once you have submitted your request and it has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation message or email outlining the services to be provided, date, time, and price.
2.4 If your chosen Service cannot be provided on the requested date or time, we will contact you with alternatives. You may accept the new arrangement or cancel the order without penalty.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Our prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£), exclusive of VAT (unless stated otherwise). We offer both fixed rates and hourly rates, depending on your specific service and requirements.
3.2 Prices are subject to change before confirmation but will not change after a booking has been confirmed.
3.3 Payment must be made in full in advance of the Service being carried out unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.4 If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you with the correct price and allow you to confirm or cancel the booking. We are not obligated to honour bookings made with incorrect pricing.
4. Service Fulfilment
4.1 We aim to deliver Services at the scheduled time and date. However, unforeseen delays (traffic, weather, operational issues) may occur. We will inform you as soon as possible of any significant delay.
4.2 Services will be delivered to the address specified during booking.
4.3 Delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed. Some services may require the client to be present to sign off or confirm completion.
4.4 Once the Service has been completed, the responsibility for the items and outcome of the Service passes to you. We accept no liability for any issues arising post-delivery unless due to negligence on our part.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 You have the right to cancel a confirmed booking up to 14 days after confirmation unless the service is scheduled to take place within that period.
5.2 If the Service has already commenced or is due to commence within 14 days and you have agreed to this, you waive the right to a cancellation refund.
5.3 All cancellations must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp. You must provide your full name, address, and booking reference.
5.4 If you cancel, we will refund any amount paid, minus any work already completed or costs incurred.
5.5 Services that have been customised (e.g., specific materials or equipment ordered for your job) or have started cannot be refunded unless proven faulty or misrepresented.
6. Faulty or Incomplete Services
6.1 If you believe a Service has not been completed as agreed, or damage has occurred due to our actions, please notify us immediately.
6.2 We will assess the claim and may offer a repair, re-delivery, replacement, or refund depending on the situation and your legal rights.
7. Service Details and Accuracy
7.1 All efforts are made to ensure that descriptions and visuals on our website accurately reflect the services offered.
7.2 We may offer promotional pricing or services online or via specific campaigns which are not available through other means.
7.3 Please use our Survey options (video or on-site) for accurate service planning. We are not responsible for issues caused by lack of pre-assessment.
8. Services Outside the United Kingdom
8.1 Move 4You Limited primarily serves customers within the United Kingdom. International enquiries must be discussed prior to booking.
8.2 If international service is approved, any customs duties, import taxes, and legal compliance is your responsibility.
8.3 We are not responsible for delays or issues related to customs clearance, inspections, or cross-border regulations.
9. Data Security
9.1 We use secure systems to protect your personal and financial information. Your data is encrypted and stored securely.
9.2 Never send payment information by email or unsecured messaging platforms. We are not responsible for loss caused by insecure communication.
10. Our Liability
10.1 We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather, road closures, or third-party disruptions.
10.2 We are not responsible for indirect losses such as business interruption or loss of goodwill.
10.3 We accept liability for injury or death caused by our negligence and for any other matter which cannot be legally excluded.

11.1 Your personal data is processed in line with our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
12. General Terms
12.1 English law applies to these Terms, and disputes will be handled in English courts unless otherwise governed by UK consumer law.
12.2 Failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce them later.
12.3 These Terms are subject to change. Updated versions will be posted on our website.
12.4 If any clause in these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the rest of the agreement remains in force.
